Finalidad u objetivo de la ayuda:

Convocatoria de propuestas relacionadas con acciones preparatorias para apoyar a la sociedad civil en los Estados miembros que se adhirieron a la Unión Europea el 1 de mayo de 2004 (Chipre, la República Checa, Estonia, Hungría, Letonia, Lituania, Malta, Polonia, Eslovaquia y Eslovenia).

The proposals submitted should tackle one of the following objectives :
a) To raise the awareness of the public in the ten Member States on the important role of monitoring and information activities, by means of sustainable and effective mechanisms.
b) To raise the awareness of the necessity of public and private contributions in support of civil society.
c) To enhance the capacity of civil society to influence policy developments at regional, national and European Union level, as well as to raise their capacity to assist the victims of fundamental rights’ violations.
d) To facilitate cooperation and coalition building among NGOs throughout the European Union and to set up links and partnerships between NGOs in all the Member States.
